Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The Journal of Aesthetic Surgery adheres to the ethical standards and guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) . The journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and academic quality throughout the editorial and peer review process.
Author Responsibilities
- Submit original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere.
- Ensure proper citation of all sources and avoid plagiarism in any form.
- Accurately present research data without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate data manipulation.
- Disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest.
- Confirm that ethical approval has been obtained where required (e.g., research involving human participants).

Reviewer Responsibilities
- Maintain strict confidentiality of manuscripts under review.
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.
- Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.

Editor Responsibilities
- Ensure fair, unbiased, and independent peer review.

Research Misconduct
The journal considers the following practices unacceptable:

Handling of Allegations and Corrections
