Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions to the Journal of Aesthetic Surgery (JAS) must comply with the following requirements prior to final confirmation:
▢ The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the Author Guidelines and follows the required formatting standards of JAS.
▢ The work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.
▢ All listed authors have made substantial contributions to the study, approved the final version, and consent to submission.
▢ Ethical approval has been obtained where required, and the study complies with the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant institutional regulations.
▢ Written informed consent has been obtained from all patients involved, including consent for publication of identifiable clinical images where applicable.
▢ All references have been carefully checked for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
▢ All tables, figures, and supplementary materials are properly labeled and cited within the manuscript.
▢ Any financial support, funding sources, and potential conflicts of interest have been fully disclosed.
▢ Permission has been secured for any copyrighted materials reproduced in this manuscript.
▢ Clinical trials (if applicable) have been registered in a publicly accessible registry prior to patient enrollment.
▢ The manuscript adheres to appropriate reporting guidelines (e.g., CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, CARE) when applicable.
