The Journal of Aesthetic Surgery encourages transparency and reproducibility in research. Authors are expected to make the data supporting their findings available whenever possible.

Data Sharing

Authors should include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript describing where and how the data can be accessed. This may include:

• Public repositories
• Supplementary materials
• Available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request

Exceptions

Restrictions may apply to data involving patient confidentiality, ethical limitations, or legal constraints. Authors must clearly state any limitations in the Data Availability Statement.

Research Integrity

Failure to provide data when requested may result in investigation in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics policy.
